West Technical Education Center students tour Tellus and Sugar Co-Op

Special to the Lake Okeechobee News/WTEC

In recognition of Florida Manufacturing Day, the students from the Mechatronics Academy at West Technical Education Center, in Belle Glade, received a personal tour of Tellus and the Sugar Co-Op. This visit afforded the students an opportunity to see the practical application of the advanced manufacturing and robotics concepts that they are learning in the program. Lunch was provided by their hosts. Thank you for the informative and enlighten experience!
