The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Division of Law Enforcement Weekly Report from April 19 - April 25 includes incidents in the Lake Okeechobee area. This report represents some events the FWC handled over specified weeks; however, it does not include all actions taken by the Division of Law Enforcement.

Okeechobee County

While conducting surveillance on closed South Florida Water Management District property, Lieutenant Davis received a call from the nuisance wild hog contractor about two subjects with dogs on the opposite side of the property. With the aid of night vision, Lieutenant Davis observed two individuals walking with dogs back to a vehicle hidden on the property and confirmed they were hog hunting on SFWMD closed property. Citations were issued to both subjects.
