Arrested Monday, June 27, were Daniel Thomas Arcuri Jr. and Anthony Gerald Vickers. Both men are charged with the felonies of burglary of a dwelling and criminal mischief, and one misdemeanor count each of petit theft.

Arcuri, 45, S.E. 24th Blvd., and Vickers, 24, S.E. Eighth Ave., are being held in the Okeechobee County Jail on bonds of $33,000 each.

An arrest report by Deputy William Jolly, of the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), stated the two men broke into a camp house on N.W. 286th Street. Once inside the house they reportedly took some electrical wiring from the breaker box, along with a stove and refrigerator.

“The door to the electric panel in the main camp was lying on top of a cabinet.

I attempted, and successfully, removed four latent prints from the door,” stated Deputy Jolly. “The prints retrieved from the door will be entered into evidence.”

Game cameras located outside the house apparently captured images of the two men, as well as the 1998 green pickup truck they were allegedly using.

The investigation is continuing.
