Okeechobee Agri Civic Center Events

Events planned at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center in February include the following.

• Florida High School Rodeo: Friday, Feb. 8, through Sunday, Feb. 10. High school competitors from all over Florida compete in rodeo events in hopes of qualifying for the Florida High School Rodeo State Finals. Come out and support the cowboys and cowgirls of Okeechobee and watch the action. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.

• Chow Down Food Trucks returns on Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The food trucks are returning, and bringing entertainment with them. A variety of food to choose from, and things to keep the kids occupied, too.

• All Florida Junior Rodeo: Friday, Feb. 15, through Sunday, Feb. 17. Youth competitors ages 5 to 14 from all over Florida compete in amateur rodeo events to qualify for the All Florida Junior Rodeo State Finals. Come out and support the young cowboys and cowgirls and watch the action. The goal of AFJRA is to provide a quality event, allowing youth to advance their rodeo talent in the spirit of fair competition and good sportsmanship. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.

• Fast & Furious Barrel Racing Buckle Series: Thursday, Feb. 21. Exhibition runs start at 5 p.m., open runs start at 7 p.m. Youth follows the Open. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.

• Kaza Productions Mexican Rodeo: Sunday, Feb. 24. This event features Mexican music and food.
