Clewiston Goodwill closing June 22

CLEWISTON — Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida will close its Clewiston Retail & Donation Center at the end of its lease on June 22. The store is located at 969 W. Sugarland Highway. The closing is part of a larger retail restructuring plan that will allow Goodwill to pool its resources and serve more people through its mission. Regarding the Job-Link Center that is located within the store, Goodwill is in the process of looking for a new location in the Clewiston area. Donors and shoppers are encouraged to visit the Goodwill Moore Haven store at 1150 U.S. 27 or the Goodwill LaBelle store located at 91 S. Lee St.

Clewiston employees have been offered jobs within the organization at other retail locations.

“We have served Clewiston for many years, and we are very grateful for the support from the community,” said CEO John Nadeau.
